This year, Théa celebrates its 30th anniversary

 

 

Developing treatments for patients suffering from chronic diseases such as glaucoma or dry eye, which affect the lives of millions of people around the world, or developing an antibiotic at the request of the WHO to treat trachoma, a blinding yet treatable disease that particularly affects children in Africa. 

 

This is Théa's business, and it's what each of our 1,900 employees in our 35 subsidiaries works for every day.

 

As a pioneer in preservative-free treatments and 100% dedicated to ophthalmology, we are proud to have made major advances in many therapeutic areas. 

 

By encouraging the transmission of knowledge, we are also committed to supporting the continuing education of healthcare professionals to meet healthcare challenges worldwide. 

 

With Jean-Frédéric Chibret, Chairman of the Théa Group, and Henri Chibret, its founder, we are driven by the entrepreneurial spirit that is part of our DNA. 

 

That's what makes Théa unique. Because there's still so much to be done and so much to be discovered, particularly in many diseases for which there are still no effective treatments to date.
