World Glaucoma Week (March 7-13) is a global initiative of the World Glaucoma Association (WGA) to raise awareness on glaucoma.
Glaucoma is a chronic eye disease which has become the 2nd leading cause of blindness in the world. It usually gives no warning until the damages could become irreversible.
However, with an early diagnosis and the appropriate treatment, harm can be limited and sight may be saved.
At Théa, we have been strongly committed to help eye care professionals in their fight against this silent disease.
